Authorities of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia regions: seven killed in shelling

Six people were killed in the shelling of Ukraine’s Kherson region, local authorities report.

“Six people were killed by Russia’s aggression in the past 24 hours, and three more suffered various wounds,” the authorities report.

Their estimates are that the region was attacked 86 times in the past 24 hours. A total of 381 shells were fired by artillery, mortars, tanks, drones, and aircraft. The city of Kherson was targeted four times.

The authorities of the Zaporizhzhia region say Prymorsk was attacked yesterday.

“The enemy’s shelling injured six locals, including a baby. A man, 24, died in hospital. Another man, 30, is in grave condition. Three civilians, including a child, are in medium condition,” says Yuri Malashko, the local governor.

The authorities say the region had suffered 84 strikes: 77 artillery ones, 3 aviation ones, 3 MLRS ones, and a UAV one. A total of 26 civilian infrastructure facilities were destroyed.

In the early hours of 14 May, Russian forces executed a massive shelling of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Air Force has stated that three cruise missiles and 25 drones were destroyed. Two people were injured in the shelling of the Ternopil region. A 64-year-old man was hurt in the attack on the frontline city Hulyaipole, Zaporizhzia region.
