Russia’s occupation ‘administration’ employees flee Nova Kakhovka

Occupation authorities of Nova Kakhovka in Ukraine’s Kherson region have cleared the city, the “administration” announced.

“Employees of the Nova Kakhovka military and civil administration, state and municipal agencies have left the city and have been relocated to safer areas of the region,” the statement reads.

Allegedly, the move comes after Ukrainian army shelling. At the same time, the “administration” reports that public utility services, social workers, and volunteers continue to work as normal in Nova Kakhovka, Tavriisk, and other cities and towns.

On November 11, the Ukrainian army recaptured Kherson. Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry announced that all troops had been redeployed to the left bank of the Dnipro River, as ordered by Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu.

On 12 November, regional military administration, police and security service resumed operation in liberated Kherson. On 13 November, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the city.
