Russia reports all troops have left west bank in Kherson

All Russia’s troops have crossed the Dnipro River in the Kherson region and are now on the east bank, the country’s Defence Ministry reports.

“There have been no losses among the military personnel, weapons, equipment or munitions. All residents willing to leave the west bank of the Dnipro River received help,” reads the agency’s statement, adding that “not a single piece of equipment or weaponry was left on the west bank.”

The Defence Ministry also claims the Ukrainian army attempted to meddle with Russia moving its weapons and civilians to the east bank during the night.

“Our passages across the Dnipro River were attacked by Ukraine‘s army five times by HIMARS systems during the night,” reads the ministry’s statement.

Russia’s Defence Minister Shoigu ordered the country’s troops to withdraw from Kherson to the eastern bank of the River Dnipro on 9 November. Kirill Stremousov, a major Russia-installed “official” in the occupied Kherson region was reported to have been killed in a car accident on the same day.
