An air defence system has shot down two missiles near the Crimean Bridge, the “governor” of annexed Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said on Saturday.
The bridge wasn’t damaged in the attack, he added.

The “advisor to the governor” of annexed Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov said that a smokescreen has been set up by special services. According to him, the traffic will soon be restored. All bridge traffic has been temporarily halted.

Russia’s Defence Ministry said in a statement that the Ukrainian army had launched a “S-200 surface-to-air guided missile converted into a strike version” on the Crimean Bridge. The ministry added that the missile was “detected and intercepted in the air”, with there being no damages or casualties.
Earlier today, Russia’s Defence Ministry said that the Russian army had repelled attacks from 20 Ukrainian drones in Crimea overnight. According to the statement, 14 drones were destroyed by an air defence system, while the other six were “suppressed by electronic warfare means”. There were no casualties or damages reported.
