PMC Wagner suspends operation of regional recruitment stations

Yevgeny Prigozhin’s PMC Wagner has halted the operation of its mercenary recruitment centres for one month, says the group’s jobs Telegram channel.

“Due to the fact that PMC Wagner is not currently taking part in the special military operation, and also owing to the group’s relocation to Belarus, we are suspending the operation of our regional recruitment centres for one month,” reads the statement.

PMC Wagner’s call centres, however, still offer recruitment. It is not specified what sort of jobs are currently available.

Novaya-Europe’s calculations showed that at least 21 recruitment centres in 20 Russian cities were hiring mercenaries for PMC Wagner as of 30 June, that is, over 50% of all stations that ever revealed its affiliation with the mercenary group.
