Russia’s Justice Ministry adds media outlet Proekt, political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin, and journalist Roman Super to ‘foreign agents’ list

Russia’s Ministry of Justice has once again added to the “foreign agents” list, as per the ministry’s website.

The new additions to the list include Russian political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin, journalist Roman Super, and historian Maxim Kuzakhmetov. Furthermore, media outlet Proekt, which was previously included on the list of “undesirable” organisations by Russia’s Public Prosecution Service, and news website Yarnovosti were added to the “foreign agents” list.

According to the Russian Justice Ministry, all three aforementioned men “declared their support of Ukraine’s government”.

The media outlet Yarnovosti, according to the ministry, “spread fake information” about the government of Russia and content created by “foreign agents”. As per the statement, media outlet Proekt “spread fake information about the actions of the Russian government and Russia’s Armed Forces”, as well as spreading content created by “foreign agents”.

A week ago, the ministry added the lead singer of Russian rock band Bi-2 Leva (Yagor Borotnik) and economist Vladislav Inosemtsev to the list of “foreign agents”.
