One injured in missile strike on Kyiv

One Kyiv resident has been injured in a missile strike on the Ukrainian capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.

The city was targeted for a second time in one day. Missile debris fell on roadways in Kyiv’s Obolonsky and Podilsky districts.

“Medical services have hospitalised one injured person in Kyiv’s Podilsky district,” Klitschko noted.

The downed missile landed on the rooftop of a two-storey building in the Podilsky district, causing a fire. The incident was localised.

Earlier today, Ukrainian air-defence systems intercepted more than 40 drones over Kyiv.

The Ukrainian side claims that the city was targeted by Shahed drones. Simultaneously, Russia fired cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea area, potentially Kh-101/555.

The drone debris fell on a building in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynsky district, causing a fire. Moreover, more drone debris made a hole in the roofing of a residential building in the city’s Podilsky district.
