Russian forces have struck an ammo depot set up at a Mykolaiv shipyard in southern Ukraine, the Russian Defence Ministry reported.

The ministry said that the “strike achieved its goals” and “the designated facility was hit”.

Earlier, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said that blazes broke out in the city following the strikes. One woman sustained fragmentation wounds and an ambulance was called.
