Transneft reports ‘attempted terror attack’ on Druzhba oil pipeline in Bryansk

Transneft has reported an “attempted terror attack” on the Druzhba oil pipeline in the Bryansk region, the company’s representative shared with TASS.

“Yes, that is true. This morning we had an attempted terror attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline system near Bryansk,” he said.

Nobody was hurt in the attack, the oil company says.

Baza Telegram channel wrote earlier that a filling station in the locality of Sven was under shelling.

“Three empty reservoirs for oil storage were hit, holes about 10 cm wide were found on them. There were no leaks or flames, nobody was heart,” Baza’s sources say.

Transneft claimed on 1 February that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attempted to shell a station on the Druzhba pipeline.

On 15 March, Transneft reported finding explosive devices on the Novozybkov oil pumping station on the pipeline.

On 21 March, the local governor reported a Ukrainian drone attack on the Druzhba pipeline.

The Novozybkov oil pumping station is inactive as of 2023, and has its reservoirs empty.
