A drone has crashed in the Bogorodsky city district of the Moscow region, Russia’s state news agency TASS reports, after receiving confirmation from law enforcement.
Furthermore, Russian Telegram channels Baza, Mash, Shot, and 112 have also reported the crash of the drone. They write that it fell down not far away from the city of Noginsk and was found by a local woman in the woods.
According to the Telegram channels, the UAV was staffed with 17 kg of explosives. It is reported that the UAV in question is Ukrainian-made UJ-22 Airborne, the range of which is up to 800 km.
A drone of this type previously crashed near a Gazprom booster station in the Kolomensky district of the Moscow region. The crash has been confirmed by Andrey Vorobyev, the local governor. “This happened near the locality of Gubastovo. The drone likely targeted a civilian facility but did not damage it. No victims either,” Andrey Vorobyev, the local governor, said back then.
