Occupation ‘government’ of Kherson region: Ukraine’s Armed Forces try to break through front line in the region

Ukraine’s Armed Forces attacked the Russian army in Beryslav direction in the Kherson region today, 31 October, deputy head of the occupation “government” of the region Kirill Stremousov says.

“There has just been an attempt of an attack in Beryslav direction, but the attack was repelled,” Stremousov writes.

He has also published a video featuring alleged damaged tanks.

He also claims that Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the attack, but the exact number of casualties is unknown.

At the same time, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces has not yet confirmed any fighting in Beryslav direction. In the daily brief of the General Stuff, only destruction of two barges in the area of the Antonivskyi Bridge and destruction of a “column of the enemy's military equipment” were mentioned.

Russia-appointed “authorities” of the Kherson region began evacuation of Kherson residents to the other bank of the Dnipro river on 19 October. On the same day, the regional “administration” reported Ukraine’s troops advancing. On 28 October, the occupation “government” said that evacuation activities had been completed.
