Two fighter jets crashed in Russia’s Rostov region on the same day, ASTRA and Baza Telegram channels, as well as 161.ru news portal, report.

Both planes crashed on 9 October, the outlets report. It was reported today that a Su-25 jet had crashed near the village of Rogalik in the Rostov region. The media report that the pilot had been killed, as the plane’s ejection system failed.

Yesterday, it was reported that a Su-24 plane had crashed in the village of Sibirki in the Rostov region.

The plane crashed when landing after a training flight. The crew successfully ejected, TASS reported, citing the press service of the Southern Military District.
