Six people killed in Russian attacks on Ukraine

Three civilians were killed after Russian shelling on the Kharkiv region of Ukraine: two women, aged 65 and 61, and a man, aged 49, said the head of the regional military administration Oleh Synyehubov.

According to him, the Russian army is firing missiles into Kharkiv and the region. So far, the industrial area and education facilities have been hit.

Despite the attacks, people continue to go back to Kharkiv, added Synyehubov. According to his data, currently there are about 700 thousand people in the city which is almost half of its population.

Three people were killed as a result of Russian attacks in the last 24 hours in the Donetsk region, said the head of the regional military administration Pavlo Kyrylenko. In addition, it is impossible to establish the precise number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Kyrylenko stated that on the night between 20 June and 21 June, the Russian army used a Grad multiple rocket launcher to fire at the School#6 in Avdiivka. “This is the third school destroyed by Russians in Avdiivka. In total, the occupants have so far destroyed about 200 schools in the Donetsk region,” he wrote in a Telegram post.

On 17 June, the Ukrainian authorities reported seven dead as a result of attacks on Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, and Mykolaiv. On 16 June, four civilians were killed in the Sumy region. The day before, on 15 June, four people were killed in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
