Joe and Hunter Biden, Morgan Freeman banned from entering Russia for life

The Russian Foreign Ministry has banned President Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden and 961 more US nationals from entering Russia for life, the full list being published on the ministry’s website.

CIA director William J. Burns and Morgan Freeman are among the entrants. The latter was blacklisted for a video dating back to 2017 where Freeman called upon the then-President Donald Trump to protect the country from “the Russian conspiracy”.

“Hostile actions by Washington hit their own country like a boomerang. Such actions will be confronted in the future as well,” the ministry’s statement reads.

Various US politicians, industrialists, journalists, judges, lawyers and servicemen were included to the list.

Russia has also banned 26 citizens of Canada, including Sophie Trudeau, the wife of the Canadian PM, as well as various high-ranked military commanders.

Russia imposed sanctions against 61 Canadians and 29 US citizens earlier on 21 April. The list included Vice President Kamala Harris, Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby, Deputy Defence Secretary Kathleen Hicks, co-founder of Meta Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Linkedin Ryan Roslansky, Kevin Rothrock (managing editor at Russian media outlet Meduza) and others.
