The volume of the Russian National Wealth Fund is 11.005 trillion rubles (~€136.5 billion) or 8.3% of the national GDP as of 1 May, according to the report by the Ministry of Finance.
The Fund stored 13.052 trillion rubles as of 1 April. Thuswise, it has lost 2.05 trillion rubles in 30 days.
The money is also stored in the Bank of Russia in different currencies: in total there are 38,561.6 million euros, 4,178.7 million pounds, 600,304.0 million Japanese yen, 226,776.8 million Chinese yuan, 405 708.4 kg. gold in impersonal metal accounts, as well as 92,785.6 million rubles.
The remaining funds are stored in VEB, a state development corporation, or invested in stocks or debt obligations of other countries.
