The locality of Sereda in the Belgorod region was shelled “from the Ukrainian territory”, says local governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on his Telegram.
One civilian suffered a shrapnel wound and has already received medical aid. Gladkov promised to share more information further.
The governors of Ukraine-neighbouring Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions repeatedly reported Ukrainian shellings in the last weeks, The entire locality of Nekhoteevka was evacuated earlier. The locality of Solokha in the Belgorod region was shelled by the Ukrainian army on 11 May, killing one civilian.
More than 280 residential buildings and 85 vehicles were damaged in the Belgorod region alone since Russia invaded Ukraine, report the local authorities.
