Kyiv mayor: over 200 residential buildings damaged since war started

More than 200 residential buildings have been destroyed in Ukraine’s capital by shells since the Russian invasion into Ukraine started on 24 February, says Vitali Klitschko, Kyiv’s mayor.

A total of 46 schools, 30 kindergartens and over 70 urban infrastructure facilities were destroyed, he noted as he shared a video of what Kyiv looks like today.

One person was killed in shelling last night in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, says local governor Pavlo Kyrylenko. Two more people were injured in Malotaranivka near Kramatorsk, and one in Drobysheve near Lyman.

Two detached houses were completely destroyed in Bakhmut, and 11 more buildings were damaged. Malotaranivka lost seven residential buildings, a village hall and a grocery store.
