Three civilians were killed in artillery strikes in the area of Ukraine’s Kharkiv, regional governor Oleh Synehubov said on his Telegram channel.
Eight people were injured in the attacks, he added. The governor changed the curfew hours in the region: its residents must stay home and follow blackout regulations from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
According to Synehubov, Russian troops continue their offensive in the direction of Barvinkove, a city in the Izium District. He added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces “hold their position.”
It was reported earlier that Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk and Dnipropetrovsk Regions had come under attack on Monday. Two residents of Orikhiv, a city in the Zaporizhzhia Region, were killed in the attacks. Three civilians, including a small child, were killed in the Luhansk Region.
