Roskomnadzor has restricted access to WikiArt, an online visual art encyclopaedia, by request of the General Prosecutor’s office, according to Roskomsvoboda.
Roskomnadzor states that two requests were issued on 25 and 26 April. WikiArt’s Facebook page notes that most of their team lives in Ukraine. The WikiArt website also shared information about ways to help Ukrainians earlier.
Roskomnadzor has also blocked Ekho Rossii and Matritsya Svobody (myc.news), a news outlet available in Russian and Ukrainian.
Our website also became unavailable in Russia this morning, indicates Global Check, a service for monitoring website availability. There is no information if it was officially blocked by Roskomnadzor as of now.
