Four people were killed as a result of attacks on two markets in Donetsk, head of the Donetsk city administration Alexey Kulemzin said on his Telegram channel on Thursday.
Kulemzin added that 21 people were injured in the attacks, including two minors. “The injured were taken to hospitals where they are receiving the necessary medical aid,” the city official assured.
He added that the city’s Petrovsky district had also come under attack, with several residential buildings damaged in the shelling.
The Ukrainian side also reported civilian deaths on Thursday: three people were killed in the village of New York in the Donetsk Region, three more were injured. For their part, Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia regional officials informed that Russian aviation had attacked residential buildings in the region with Kh-55 air-launched missiles. Three people were injured, including one child. Oleh Synehubov, governor of Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, stated that one person had been killed in Russia’s recent attacks on Kharkiv, and eight were injured.
