The Russian police have put Maria Alyokhina on the wanted list.
Alyokhina had her ‘Palace Case’ probation term replaced by 21 days of imprisonment on 21 April for violating her probation curfew and removing an electronic tag from her ankle.
Alyokhina was sentenced to a year’s probation as part of the so-called ‘Palace Case’ in September 2021. The court found her guilty of ‘encouraging to violate public health regulations’ on 23 January 2021 during a rally in support of Alexey Navalny.
Alyokhina was also detained for 15 days twice on 8 and 28 February for posting a picture containing ‘prohibited symbols’ in 2015 and ‘disobedience to police’, respectively.
