Ukraine shell two villages in Russia’s Belgorod region, local governor claims

The villages of Nekhoteevka and Zhuravlyovka were shelled by Ukraine, claims Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region.

Nekhoteevka had some of its residential buildings and personal vehicles slightly damaged with no injuries among civilians. Zhuravlyovka, however, suffered a heavier attack, reports Gladkov. «It is already obvious that at least two villagers were injured: a man and a woman with their arm and neck wounded, respectively. The ambulance is on its way. Some of the residential buildings were destroyed, too», he noted.

Yesterday the local authorities reported that a Ukrainian projectile was found in a field near the village of Otradnoye. No people were hurt and no buildings were damaged.

The Russian army claimed to have taken down two Ukrainian drones in the Kursk region close to the border earlier today. There were no reported casualties, injuries or destruction as well.
