Russian officials in Kursk region report bringing down two drones from Ukraine

The Russian air defence system has brought down two Ukrainian drones in the vicinity of Borovoye in Kursk region, reports the local governor Roman Starovoyt.

“Our air defence system shot down two Ukrainian drones in Rylsky district at 4.15 this morning. There are no casualties, injuries or destruction,” he wrote on his Telegram. The Ukrainian side is yet to comment on the matter.

Starovoyt claimed on 23 April that a border checkpoint in Glushkovsky district was attacked by Ukraine with no personnel injured or dead and one building on fire.

The Kursk region officials introduced a yellow terrorist danger warning on 11 April due to "potential provocations by Ukrainian nationalists." The same measure was implemented in the regions of Belgorod and Bryansk.

Meanwhile, an oil terminal in Bryansk caught on fire this morning, reported by TASS and The Bryansk region officials. The fire has been assigned an increased difficulty level.
