A follower of 7x7 news outlet informed that the woman had been painting her fence blue and yellow every spring for many years. On April 22, she began painting the fence once again, however, her neighbours reported her to the police.

Local police officers arrived at the scene shortly, telling the woman that the yellow-and-blue fence is associated with the Ukrainian flag, and that during the “special operation,” such associations are “undesirable.”

As a result, the Pskov resident repainted her fence blue.

Earlier, Yulia Yeliseeva, a resident of Moscow, was detained on the Red Square for painting her nails blue and yellow and carrying a “No to war” bag. Police charged her with two administrative offences, one for “discrediting” the Russian army and one for violating the law on public gatherings, OVD-Info, a Russian human rights organisation that monitors arrests of protesters, informed. She was then released from the police station.

The Insider news outlet also informed, citing attorney Ilya Utkin, that a 40-year-old man was detained in downtown Moscow for wearing blue-and-yellow sneakers. Police issued him a 10,000-ruble (about $130) fine.
