Anti-war rally in Russia’s Kyzyl, local draft offices report fulfilling required conscription quotas

Draft offices in Russia’s republic of Tuva have reported fulfilling “partial mobilisation” quotas, Interfax cites local chief enlistment officer.

“We have reached the required quota and are now clarifying personal data of some of our men. Anyone who received a draft card is expected to arrive at the local conscription office,” he said. A total of about 700 men were drafted, TASS cites the local authorities.

Meanwhile, there is an anti-war rally now in Kyzyl, Tuva’s capital. Women are being detained by police in a brutal manner, some are being dragged across the ground and pushed into police vans, Avtozak LIVE reports. Moreover, a woman with a baby in a pram was also detained.
