Donetsk city hall hit in missile strike

The city hall building in Donetsk, the capital of the Russian-occupied Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, has been damaged in a missile strike, the city's Moscow-installed mayor Alexey Kulemzin reported on Monday.

The Russian-installed governor of the Donetsk region Denis Pushilin said that no casualties had been reported. Footage of the strike’s aftermath shows that the upper part of the building was hit.

The War Gonzo Telegram channel reported on Monday that a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) had been used in the attack.

The occupation authorities said that a residential building in the city had also been hit. The detached house in question was burned to the ground, according to additional reports.
