A local man was killed by a strike in Shchetinovka, a locality in Russia’s Belgorod region next to the Ukrainian border, local governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reports.
“Ukraine’s Armed Forces used a drone to drop an explosive device and killed a man while he was mowing grass in his backyard,” the governor wrote on Telegram.
He says the explosion caused lethal injuries to the man.
Vyacheslav Gladkov reported earlier today that the locality of Urazovo had been shelled with cluster munitions.
Grad shells hit private households and the local shop. Six people were injured; one of them is in critical condition, as per Gladkov’s report.
Several houses and vehicles were damaged. Gladkov also noted that the air defence had taken down a fixed-wing drone in the vicinity of Kupino; no damages or injuries were reported.
A fixed-wing drone was taken down by the air defence in the Istra district of the Moscow region earlier today.
