Russian-installed authorities of occupied Oleshky accuse Ukraine of shelling humanitarian aid office

Shelling has destroyed a humanitarian aid office in the occupied Ukrainian city of Oleshky, the Russian-installed administration reported on Sunday.

“In the early morning of 13 August, a direct hit of a large-calibre shell fired from the right bank by Ukrainian Nazis destroyed the humanitarian aid headquarters in the town of Oleshky. Fortunately, nobody was injured,” the occupational administration said.

They pointed out that this was not the first time this office was hit by shelling — an explosion allegedly occurred only a few yards from the building on 3 July. The Russian-installed administration claims that at the time of the explosion people were receiving food packages and bottled water at the office.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces earlier reported shelling Oleshky, claiming, however, that they destroyed two ammunition warehouses and hit an “amassment of the occupying forces”.
