Seven killed in Russia’s strike against Pokrovsk, Ukraine

A Russian missile hit a residential block in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, killing people, as per the country’s President Zelensky.

“Two missile strikes. An ordinary residential building was hit. Unfortunately, there are victims. Rescuers and all necessary services are on the scene. The rescue of people continues,” he wrote.

“As of now, we have info on two people killed, a man and a woman. Four injured people were taken away in an ambulance. The rescuers and the doctors are working,” Andriy Yermak, the head of Zelensky’s administration, reported.

12:30 8 August The death toll has risen to 7; 67 people were killed, says Ihor Klymenko, Ukraine’s Interior Minister.
