The Russian military used 99 mortar, artillery, Grad and UAV shells in the past 24 hours, Prokudin says. A total of 12 shells were used against Kherson, striking residential quarters and a detached housing area. Four people were injured.

Russia’s military last shelled Kherson on 3 August, damaging a downtown church and injuring three passengers of a nearby trolleybus.
