Missile hits residential block in Kryvyi Rih

11:45 UTC+3 Two people were killed and 20 were injured after missiles hit a residential building and an educational establishment in Kryvyi Rih, Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said during a telethon.

Emergency services had previously reported one dead and 18 injured.

12:49 UTC+3 Four people were killed, and 43 were injured, rescue workers report. Three people were rescued from the rubble, including a child born in 2013. Thirty people were evacuated. Emergency services continue working on site.

18:05 UTC+3 The number of people killed in the strike on Kryvyi Rih has risen to six, Dnipropetrovsk regional administration head, Serhiy Lysak, reported. 75 people have been injured.

Ukrainian Telegram channels reported on Monday morning that a missile struck a multi-storey residential building in the city of Kryvyi Rih.

Videos published on social media show that several apartments have been destroyed.

City mayor Oleksandr Vilkul wrote earlier that there had been an explosion, but did not provide any details. Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk region where Kryvyi Rih is located, promised to report details later, implying that the attack had been carried out by “Russian terrorists”.

Earlier today, Russian forces launched missiles against Kharkiv, injuring one person. In Kherson, another Russian attack killed a public utilities worker and injured two of his colleagues.
