Three more wounded in Nikopol

A Russian attack on the village of New York, Ukraine’s Donetsk region, has killed four people, the regional prosecution reports.

“The shelling killed four locals, including a couple. Their remains were recovered from under the rubble of a destroyed building by rescue teams. Moreover, three more people were injured, including a woman whose husband was killed,” the statement reads.

The Russian army is claimed to have used FAB-250 aviation bombs in the attack that took place in the evening of 21 July.

Moreover, head of the Dnipro regional council Mykola Lukashuk reported that three more people were injured in an attack on the city of Nikopol late on 21 July.

“A man, 57, and his mother, 78, sustained fragmentation wounds. They were taken to hospital. Doctors provided all the necessary care. The injured are in moderately serious condition. Another resident of Nikopol, 42, was also injured,” Lukashuk wrote.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Russia carried out a missile strike at night, Kostiantynivka and Kramatorsk were targeted.

“On 22 July, at 1:58 AM, the enemy conducted a missile strike on Kostiantynivka by firing two S-300 missiles. As a result, five apartment buildings, an infrastructure facility, a water pipe, and power lines were damaged in the attack,” the Kostiantynivka administration noted.

Kramatorsk was also hit with S-300 missiles, private industrial facilities were targeted, the city council claims.

No one was injured in both cities.

Moreover, a Nikopol industrial building was shelled at night, head of the city administration Yevhen Yevtushenko said. According to him, no one was wounded.

The Russian army launched overnight drone strikes on the Mykolaiv, Dnipro, and Kirovohrad regions, spokesperson for the South operational command Nataliya Gumenyuk reported.

The Ukrainian Air Force noted that five Shahed strike drones and nine reconnaissance UAVs had been downed.
