Occupation ‘government’ of Ukraine’s Berdyansk: two ‘terrorists’ killed. Ukraine’s media identify them as 17-year-old teenagers who shot police officer and civilian

The occupation “authorities” of Ukraine’s city of Berdyansk has reported killing two “pro-Ukrainian terrorists” who opened fire at an embankment. According to the Ukrainian media, the “terrorists” in question were two 17-year-old teenagers.

As per Russian news agency Interfax, law enforcement and military police officers arrived at the embankment where the shooting had started and “neutralised” the attackers. The representative of the occupation “authorities” Vladimir Rogov says that two “pro-Ukrainian terrorists” were eliminated, clarifying that they were killed. One of the attackers was 17-year-old Tigran Oganisyan, as per Rogov.

According to the Ukrainian media, Oganisyan and 17-year-old Mikita Khanganov killed two people during the shooting at the embankment — a police officer and a civilian. Two local residents were wounded, Interfax notes.

Ukraine’s media have also posted a video recorded by Oganesyan shortly before his death. In the video, he says: “[The plan is to kill] two [people] for certain. That’s it, it’s death, guys, goodbye! Glory to Ukraine!”

At the end of May 2023, the Investigative Committee brought charges against Oganisyan and Khanganov for attempting to carry out a diversion. Ukrainian human rights defenders reported that both teenagers had been tortured with electricity, beaten, and ordered to admit their guilt.
