Russian occupation authorities report explosions in Ukraine’s Melitopol and Berdiansk

Around five explosions went off in Melitopol, Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, says Vladimir Rogov, local occupation official.

“A series of explosions went off in the city, around five explosions total in the north part of the city,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Rogov added that another series of explosions went off in Berdiansk at 18:40 local time. “Preliminary info says the air defence did its job and downed six missiles,” he said.

Ivan Fedorov, the Ukrainian mayor of Melitopol, reported earlier today that a railroad track near the locality of Dolinske had been blown up. He also noted that Russia is using this railroad to transport troops and military equipment to the front line.

Rogov reported explosions in the Berdyansk port yesterday. On 21 May, Ukraine reported striking a Russian occupation headquarters in the city.
