Belgorod region chief: people killed, injured in attack on temporary camp

Vyacheslav Gladkov, head of Russia’s Belgorod region located on the Ukrainian border, has reported that a temporary shelter camp was shelled by the Ukrainian army, killing and injuring several people.

“Today, the Ukrainian armed forces shelled a temporary shelter camp for displaced people from municipalities of the Shebekensky district. People are killed and injured,” Gladkov noted.

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on 29 May that one civilian in the village of Grafovka, Russia’s Belgorod region, has been killed in shelling.

Earlier, Gladkov noted that four people had been injured in an attack on the Belgorod region. Two industrial facilities were shelled. In one of them, a shell hit caused a production building with paint liquids to catch fire. It was there that four people were injured. All the injured were men and were hospitalised with respiratory tract burns and carbon monoxide poisoning.
