Rescue operation over in Dnipro’s hospital: 2 killed, 32 injured

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service has reported finishing the rescue operation in Dnipro where a Russian missile hit a hospital yesterday.

The attack killed two individuals; 32 more were injured, of which 13 were admitted to hospital. Five people suffered severe injuries, says local governor Serhiy Lysak.

The fate of three more people who were inside the hospital when the missile hit the building remains unknown.

Lysak also declared a mourning day.

A total of 30 apartment blocks and over 20 detached houses were damaged, as well as a stadium, four schools, and three kindergartens.

Russia attacked Ukrainian territory yesterday, including the Dnipro hospital. The deceased individuals were 70 and 57 years old.
