Russian military attacks Dnipro region of Ukraine, injures eight

Explosions were heard overnight in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, Suspilne reports.

Dnipro mayor Borys Filatov asked the city’s residents not to film anything and not to post any footage. Serhiy Lysak, the local governor, reported that the region had “withstood the attack”.

Lysak says an emergency facility and a private enterprise were damaged, as well as several vehicles and some equipment. A 27-year-old man was also injured in the region.

Lysak also reported that a UAV had fallen near Ilarionove, damaging several detached houses and apartment blocks, a kindergarten, several shops and administrative buildings, as well as injuring seven people.

Late last night, Russia’s military also attacked the Odesa region with a combat drone. The local command says the drone had been taken down over the sea.

Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, reported that a drone had dropped an explosive device on a village hall in Golovchino overnight, setting its roof on fire and injuring no one.

Air raid alert was reported in the regions of Kmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Lviv, Volyn, and Rivne.
