PMC Wagner chief Prigozhin demands ammo from Russian MoD in new video with dozen of corpses

PMC Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin made a video appeal to the Russian Ministry of Defence showing the PMC’s recent casualties and demanding ammunition supplies. The video was published on the Telegram channel of Prigozhin’s press service.

“These are the Wagner boys who died today. The blood is still fresh. Record them all! <...> Those [...] who don’t give us ammunition, [...] will be in hell eating their guts out. We have a 70% ammunition shortage. [Defence Minister] Shoigu! [Chief of the General Staff] Gerasimov! Where [...] is the ammunition? <...> You think you’re the masters of this life and that you have the right to dispose of their lives? <...> They came here as volunteers and are dying for you to grow fat in your mahogany offices”, Prigozhin can be seen shouting in the video.

Last week, Prigozhin threatened Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu with Wagner’s retreat from Bakhmut unless the PMC received ammunition. He said that Wagner was getting only 20-25% of the required ammo.

Prigozhin also made similar accusations back in late February. The Defence Ministry responded at the time that “all ammunition requests for assault units are being fulfilled as quickly as possible”.
