Occupation authorities: missile hits bus in Donetsk, kills 7

Seven people were killed as a missile hit a bus in Donetsk, says Alexey Kulemzin, the Russia-installed “mayor” of the city.

Denis Pushilin, the Russia-installed “governor”, says one of the deceased was a child.

In addition to that, Pushilin claims a hospital, a park, and residential buildings were also hit. Over 10 people were admitted to hospital, Pushilin says.

Readovka and TASS also report, citing sources, that a trauma centre was hit, and the city’s only MRI machine was damaged. It is also reported that the RSC Olimpiyskiy stadium was also damaged. Photos are being shared on social media, showing a crater on the ground’s pitch.

The Ukrainian side has yet to comment on the attack. Andriy Tsaplienko, a journalist, has blamed the attack on Russia.

“Russian scum has attacked downtown Donetsk to distract attention from the 18 civilians killed in Uman and Dnipro and to accuse Ukraine’s military of its own crimes,” he wrote.
