Russia’s Belgorod region: 30 people killed, 123 wounded since start of war in Ukraine

In Russia’s Belgorod region, a total of 30 people have been killed and 123 wounded since the start of the invasion of Ukraine, local governor Vyacheslav Gladkov says, as per Russia’s state news agency RIA Novosti.

Gladkov revealed this data during his report before the regional parliament deputies. He connected the casualties to “Ukrainian aggression”.

RIA Novosti notes that during his 24 January meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin Gladkov reported that 25 residents of the region had been killed and 96 wounded.

On Tuesday, Gladkov said that one person was killed as a result of a grenade exploding in the front yard of a private house. On Monday, two fires were reported at civilian facilities in Russia’s Belgorod and Belgorod region, no one was hurt.
