A drone equipped with a camera capable of taking pictures and video has fallen in the premises of Fakel, an air-defence system producing company, located in the Moscow region, TASS reports citing law enforcement sources.
“Yesterday, a camera-equipped drone was found on the ground on the premises of the Fakel aerodefence corporation. Preliminary reports suggest that it was not loaded with weapons,” the source told TASS. Security agents are now investigating who launched the drone and from what location.
Fakel produces Tor and S-400 air-defence systems as well as modernises S-300 and Osa.
Mash reported about the incident earlier. According to the media outlet, it was a homemade drone.
No official confirmation of this report has been issued yet.
On 28 March, drone debris was found in the Moscow region, the village of Svitino. Previously, a drone exploded in the city of Kireyevsk, Tula region, injuring three people.
