Russia’s Investigative Committee reports detaining Darya Trepova in connection with St. Petersburg explosion

Russia’s Investigative Committee has reported detaining a woman named Darya Trepova in connection with yesterday’s St. Petersburg explosion, the agency’s Telegram channel says.

Fontanka reports the woman was detained in an apartment she had previously rented in St. Petersburg. Trepova was put on the nationwide wanted list earlier.

The Russian National anti-Terrorist Committee has issued a statement:

“The terror attack against Vladlen Tatarsky, the well-known journalist, was plotted by the secret agencies of Ukraine and used agents cooperating with the so-called Anti-Corruption Foundation of Alexey Navalny, including the detained Darya Trepova”.

War correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky was killed in a blast that rocked Street Bar, a St. Petersburg cafe, yesterday.

A total of 32 individuals were injured in the incident.
