Three cadets died recently at the Budyonny Military Academy of the Signal Corps in Sertolovo near Saint Petersburg, as per Fontanka, Baza, and Ostorozhno Novosti.
All three were contracted servicemen, media say. They were allowed out of college grounds temporarily with a leave pass, and returned on 26 March in the evening.
After the evening parade, the young men went to bed and felt sick the next morning. Baza and Ostorozhno Novosti say all three showed signs of epileptic seizures with foam coming out of their mouths.
Izvestia says that the medics that arrived at the scene spotted no signs of bodily injuries. Ostorozhno Novosti says that among the deceased are cadets from Vladivostok and Nalchik.
