Russian forces have carried out an S-300 missile strike on Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, regional head Oleh Synehubov reported.
According to the local authorities, a missile struck an administrative building, one person was injured and two more are stuck under the rubble.
Moreover, the Kyiv administration noted that an air defence system was triggered. “We ask everyone to immediately proceed to shelter,” the administration added.
Kyiv residents heard explosions. According to local Telegram channels, an air target did not reach the city and was intercepted.
Petro Andryushchenko, advisor to the Mariupol mayor, said that three explosions were heard in the city. Russia-installed authorities also reported that air defence systems located in Mariupol’s seaport were shooting down targets.
On 21 February, the centre of Ukraine’s Kherson was shelled, six people died. At least 20 explosions rocked the city. The strikes were possibly launched by Grad missile systems. Projectiles hit a bus stop in downtown Kherson when people were waiting for public transport.
