Update

Following the Russian drone and missile attack, heat-generating and water-supplying facilities as well as high-voltage infrastructure in six regions are damaged in Ukraine, said Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.

Many regions of the country are experiencing emergency blackouts. The Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Khmelnitsky regions find themselves in the most difficult situation.

More attacks on critical infrastructure facilities were earlier reported in Ukraine’s Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro regions.

According to Anatoly Kurtev, senior Zaporizhzhia official, 17 strikes were recorded in the city in one hour. He noted that this is the largest shelling of Zaporizhzhia since the Ukraine war began.
