Ukraine’s Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia regions report attacks on critical infrastructure

Head of Ukraine’s Kharkiv region Oleh Siniehubov has reported that the Russian army launched attacks on critical infrastructure facilities. According to him, 10 explosions have been recorded.

“Power supply is interrupted in several districts. Emergency services are working at the site. Information about the victims and the scale of destruction is being clarified," he said.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that the city was hit by a series of strikes at 4 AM.

“The enemy is targeting critical infrastructure facilities. Power, water, and heat supplies can be interrupted,” he wrote.

According to Anatoly Kurtev, senior Zaporizhzhia official, 17 strikes were recorded in the city in one hour. He noted that this is the largest shelling of Zaporizhzhia since the Ukraine war began.

Kurtev also noted that the Russian army launched attacks on the energy infrastructure facilities.

Vladimir Rogov, Russia-installed official of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, also reported about explosions in the city around 11:57 PM.

“My fellow townsmen told me that at least three explosions were heard in various parts of the city. Another explosion went off at 01:25 AM,” he wrote.

According to head of the Kryvyi Rih region Oleksandr Vilkul, the Russian army also launched a strike at energy-related facilities in the region.

“The scale of destruction is very serious, a fire started at the targeted site. A 46-year-old employee is injured. Fire, rescue, and other necessary services are working at the site,” he noted.
