Governor: repair team member injured in Russia’s Kursk region shelling

One person was injured in Russia’s Kursk region following a shelling attack, Governor Roman Starovoyt reported.

“Today, when electric supply was being restored to the villages of Krasnooktyabrsky and Volfino, a repair team was caught in mortar shelling, one member was lightly injured, he was provided with medical care,” Starovoyt wrote.

According to him, 12 projectiles hit the region today. Power lines were damaged, but the repair team fixed most of them, 14 buildings are left without power.

Earlier today, Melitopol’s occupation authorities said 5 people had been killed and 4 more had been injured in a missile attack on a railway bridge.

“Today around 12:30 PM UGIL (as Ukraine is sometimes referred to in Russia mimicking Russian for ISIS (IGIL) — translator’s note) carried out a HIMARS missile attack on a railway bridge across the Molochna River in the village of Svitlodolynske, Melitopol district, Zaporizhzhia region. The missile hit when the bridge was being repaired,” Vladimir Rogov, head of the We Are Together with Russia movement, noted.
