Russian MoD: 14 killed, 24 injured in Ukraine’s strike on hospital in Novoaidar, Luhansk region

Russia’s Defence Ministry claims Ukraine has executed a strike against a hospital in Novoaidar, the Luhansk region, reads the agency’s statement.

“The impact of the rockets with high-explosive fragmentation warheads has resulted in killing 14 and injuring 24 patients and medical employees of the hospital,” the statement says. “The healthcare facility of Novoaydar was the venue where civilian and military professionals had been providing medical aid to the local population and servicemen for many months.” The Ministry also claims that a HIMARS rocket system was used to deliver the strike.

The “government” of the so-called “Luhansk People’s Republic” says four type M31 GMLRS rockets attacked the settlement.

Russia executed a series of massive strikes upon Ukraine on Thursday for the 13th time, killing 11 people and injuring at least 12, as per local authorities. Energy facilities were damaged in the regions of Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv. Ukraine reported that Russia had launched 59 missiles upon Ukraine’s cities, while the Ukrainian air defence systems managed to down 47 of those.
