Media: Ukrainian missile drops in Belarus

A Ukrainian S-300 missile has hit the territory of Belarus, as per BelTa, a pro-government Belarusian outlet.

“An S-300 missile dropped on Belarusian territory today between 10 and 11 a.m.,” reads the news.

BelTa also says that two theories are being considered now: “either an accidental drop of a missile similar to a recent incident in Poland or the result of the Belarusian air defence working”.

No casualties have been reported as of now. There are, however, reports on Telegram that the missile hit a field in the Brest region near the locality of Gorbakha.

Update: 16:25 UTC+3

The Belarusian Defence Ministry has commented on the matter, saying that the country’s air defence systems had taken down an S-300 missile launched from Ukraine’s territory. The fragments indeed dropped near Gorbakha, MoD says.
