At least eight people were killed and five injured following Russian troops shelling the city of Kurakhove, located in the Ukraine-controlled part of the Donetsk region, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, reports.

“The enemy has shelled the city, using multiple rocket launchers. A market, bus station, gas stations, and residential buildings came under fire. Eight people were killed, five — injured!” he writes.

Head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, has posted a video showing the aftermath of the shelling.
Earlier today, it was reported that two people had been killed in shelling of the Kherson region in one day, one local resident had been wounded. “Russian invaders shelled the territory of the Kherson region 51 times. They killed two civilians, another resident of the region was wounded,” head of the Kherson region administration Yaroslav Yanushevych said.
